1974 Fender Stratocaster

The Fender Stratocaster is iconic in both sound and design. This all original example features a beautiful see through Mocha finish with a hard maple neck with large headstock. A great addition to anyone's collection.

Body: Original mocha showing grain under finish.

Neck: Maple with dot inlays. Fender water decal logo intact.Truss rod moves freely. 

Pickups/Hardware: Original staggered pole pickups measure strong at 5.67(bridge) 5.67 (middle) 5.64 (neck). These are the  coveted 'grey bottom' staggered pole pickups are the same used by fender in the 1960s thought 1974. Pickup selector switch is original 3 way. Fender 'F' tuners hold strong. Bridge saddles are in great condition and move freely for easy intonation. Pots date 12th week 1974, and 39th week 1974. Serial number 556299 on neck plate. Tremelo arm and bridge cover included in case pocket. 

Cosmetic Condition: Honest play wear throughout. No breaks or cracks. Neck pocket is nice and tight. Condition is well loved, not abused. 

Playability: Frets show little play wear with plenty of life left. This guitar has been fully cleaned, authenticated, set up, and intimated with standard 10-46 strings. It is ready for studio or stage.

Weight: Comfortable at 7 lb 12 oz.  

Case: Original Fender hard case in great condition.  Handle intact. All hinges and latches intact.
