1968 National Bobby Thomas

Vintage National hollowbody guitar owned and played by Xan McCurdy of Cake. 

Made for one year only in 1968, this top of the line National features a brilliant red burst finish, Grover Pat Pend tuners, Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, ornate fretboard inlay, unique sound holes, and two single coil pickups. The Bobby Thomas signature pickguard is still intact.  Includes hard shell case. 

Bobby Thomas has a colorful history including running from the law. 

This guitar has been fully cleaned and set up in shop. Demo it in our shop located in Portland, Oregon.
