Early 1968 Fender Esquire with changed parts. This vintage guitar has the look and sound which we look for in well worn relic.
A great vintage example of Leo Fender's solid body electric guitar, made in Fullerton, California. It is iconic in both sound and design.

Body: Original blonde finish over ash body has naturally faded to a nice cream patina. Humbucker route in the neck position under pick guard.
Neck: Birdseye maple neck with lacquer finish, rosewood fretboard, simple dot markers. Jumbo refret allow for easy playability. Oval C .83-.90 neck shape. Heel date is Feb 1968. Truss rod moves freely. Extra string tree hole. Fender logo with "Esquire"decal at headstock.
Pickups/Hardware: Blackguard era single coil pickup from early 1950s Fender Champ lap steel is strong with lots of bite. Replaced pots. Replaced tuners are Fender F stamped Schaller. Extra tuner holes from previous tuners. Serial 246257 on neck plate.
Cosmetic Condition: Guitar is well worn with player's wear. No breaks or cracks.
Playability: Frets plenty of life left. This guitar rings out when played acoustically. It is currently set up and intonated with standard 10-46 strings.
