Body: Solid Honduran mahogany with pronounced sculpted bevelled contours. Original cherry finish with natural play wear throughout. Body is light and resonant.
Neck: Mahogany with a bound dark rosewood fretboard, pearloid tapezoid inlays. Nut measures 1 11 /16 inch.Truss rod moves freely.
Pickups/Hardware: Replacement Gibson Custombucker PAF pickups are strong (7.96K neck, 8.20K bridge). Original Kluson tuners hold strong. Two pots date 1964. Two are replacments. Faber ABR-1 bridge and tailpiece added for spot on intonation. Original volume and tone knobs.
Cosmetic Condition: Honest play wear throughout. Professional heel repair is strong. Condition is well loved, not abused.
Playability: Original frets show wear, but plays nicely. It is currently set up and intonated with standard 10-46 strings.
