1954 Martin 000-18

OM size Martin dating to 1954, made with mahogany back and sides with spruce top, rosewood neck.

This guitar will need a neck reset to bring the string action down to playable condition. It also needs cracks to be glued and stabilized-  three cracks on side, one crack on back, and one larger crack on bottom bout that should be patched. A competent luthier will be able to do this work.

The guitar is in original condition showing wear in original finish. It has all the characteristics of a well used acoustic. The sound is fabulous playing chords at the first three frets. With the proper work this will be a nice playing instrument. 

We have polished the frets, oiled fretboard, oiled tuners, installed new string pins and new medium light gauge strings. 1970s style Martin case in included.
