R9 series Les Paul Standard with 1959 specs. This example features a beautiful sunburst maple top with plenty of flame, sought after by many 'burst' collectors.
Original electronics include Burstbucker pickups, quality pots, bumble bee caps. Accurate Kluson 'keystone' tuners. Nickel hardware has aged nicely over time. Honest wear in finish with one noted ding in lower bout (as shown in photo). Cream white plastic pickguard and pickup rings as used in 1959 production.
Weight is comfortable at 9 lb 2 oz. Nut width is 1.7 inches with a depth of .9 at first fret. Includes original 'Cali' case.
This guitar was fully cleaned, set up, and intonated with new strings in shop. It's ready for studio or stage. Demo it in our shop located in Portland, Oregon. Call or write with any questions.
