1965 Fender Jaguar

Introduced in 1962, the Fender Jaguar was first seen in the surf music scene. The guitar could be later spotted in the hands of American punk rockers during the 70s, and alternative rockers in the 80s-90s. This example is rare with custom color body and matching headstock. 

Body: Original Lake Placid Blue finish elegantly aged over decades to blue-green hues. Natural checking throughout. Fender's classic balanced offset body shape.

Neck: Matching LPB headstock. Maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard. Pearl dot inlays. 22 frets (newer), 24" scale. Nut Width: 1 5/8”.  

Pickups/Hardware: Original single coil pickups are strong at 6.30 (neck) and 6.59 (bridge). Double line Kluson tuners. Original bridge and tremelo. 

Cosmetic Condition: Plenty of honest play wear, dings, checking. No breaks. Well loved, not abused.

Playability: Newer frets show little play wear. Nice medium action. Notes ring out clear and true throughout the fretboard.

Weight: 7lbs 15oz
