1963 Fender Stratocaster Lefty

The Fender Stratocaster is iconic in both sound and design. Here's a rare left handed example in original sunburst finish. 

Body:Alder body with original sunburst finish. Natural checking throughout. The red hues in burst are lightly faded. Pencil body date is 4/63.

Neck: Maple neck with veneer fretboard, clay dot inlays. Stamp date is Jan 63. Original frets. 

Pickups/Hardware: Original single coil pickups are strong at 5.82 (neck), 6.02 (middle) and 5.28 (bridge). Original 'donut' pickup spacers are intact. Pots date 6th week of 1963. The original three way switch is intact. Clean Pat No single line Kluson tuners hold strong. Pickguard has the usual shrinkage shown in screw holes. Pickguard is fully intact with no broken corners. Bridge saddles and tremelo arm are fully functional and rust free. 

Cosmetic Condition: Honest play wear, checking. No breaks. Well loved, not abused. This example appears all original with no changed parts. 

Playability: Original frets show some play wear, but plenty of life left. This guitar has THE Stratocaster sound that we all look for in Strats. 

Weight: 7lbs 12oz

Case: Original brown left handed hard case is in excellent condition with fully functional latches and intact leather handle. Original manual and case key in pocket.
