1967 Epiphone Texan

Model FT-79N made in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Most famously associated with Paul McCartney of The Beatles. This one family owned vintage acoustic flat top features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides.

It has a unique dry vintage sound thanks to a body shape like a Gibson J45 or J50, and a longer scale length similar to a Martin D18. This gives the unique acoustic tone found on many Beatles recordings including "Yesterday".This particular example has faded sides like Paul McCartney's original Texan. (See last photo which shows Paul's guitar with light mahogany sides)

It's 100% original with signs of a well loved guitar. There's strumming marks, finish checking, scuffs, and one ding on back of neck (see photo). The guitar is free of breaks, cracks, or repairs. A vintage era Gibson hard case with purple interior is in excellent condition.
